Video Group

The Video group is for video quality settings.

Compression
A compressor or codec is a component compresses an AVI file to make it smaller in size. The drop-down lists all compressors/codecs installed on your PC.
The default codec is Wisdom-soft Lossless Codec, which comes with AutoScreenRecorder 5 package.

Frame rate
Frame rate is set in FPS (frames per second), which is the number of frames recorded per second.
The range is from 1 to 100, 1 being the lowest and 100 being the highest.

Quality
Set recorded video quality.
The range is from 1 to 100, 1 being the lowest and 100 being the highest.

For Wisdom-soft Lossless Codec, due to its lossless nature, the quality is always at 100%. So, the quality box is disabled.

Should I set recording quality to 100%?

Only record changes
Check to record only when there is a change on the screen in the recording area. This can potentially make the recorded video small when there are no constant changes in the recording area.
