(Q) When I select an image using the image tool and drag it the frame or
the Unsaved MotionGIF file box, it does not show up in the frame or in
the Unsaved MotionGIF file box. However,if I double click on the file
box, the image shows up for editing. If I try to build a gif file, the
file does show a reasonable file size but the gif file is blank.
Also, if I drag an images from one of the
sample libraries, that picture shows up as it should.
I am operation under XP SP2. So do I have a bad program or am I just too
dumb to make this work. I did have an older version working under W98.

(A) We tried to recreate the error, but not able to.
To import an image, there are two ways,
(1) Click the "Image" tool in Toolbox. When the file "Open" dialog box shows up,
you can highlight the image file you want and click the "Open" button to import.
(2) Open Windows Explorer, find your image file and drag&drop on MotionGIF.
After the image is imported into MotionGIF, you can
select the image and change the image opacity on the Properties list.
To edit, you can double-click the imported image.
We're not sure which way you were use to import or
was it an editing issue?
Also, the default image properties can be setup from
the "Options" in the Tools menu.
Here are some step-by-step guides,

(Q) I downloaded the latest version from your site and installed on my laptop.
All works fine. So I uninstalled the version I had on my desktop and installed
the one I had just downloaded. Still doesn't work. Any image I import will not
display.
I even turned off my anti-virus and firewall,
uninstalled and reinstalled. Still no workee.
Guess I will have to use my laptop for now.

(A) The image Opacity may be was set to 0. Hence, it would be transparent. We
indicated in the last email to check that.
"After the image is imported into MotionGIF, you can select the image and change
the image opacity on the Properties list."
If you want to see without any transparency, please set to 100.
