1. How do I know I have the latest
version?
(Q) I can't find anything on your site to tell me if I have the latest
version.

2. Uninstall Wisdom Toolbar
((Q) I downloaded screenhunter free from your site. But now after my
downloading of screenhunter I see a line in the top of my browser that I did
not see before. That line starts with Wisdom Search. How can I take that
away?

(A) The Toolbar is a standard add on to IE that you can do search easily
from your IE. It does not spam anything, but it’s up to you to use or not.
You can add or remove from the Control Panel.

3. Can't download?
(Q) I have been trying to download your free ScreenHunter 6.0 SW - no go:
what downloads cannot be installed. It looks like the files are corrupted
(..exe, .zip and .msi) - I tried each one, all are non-functional.

download page.
We want you to use our software before you buy it.

(Q) you can relax: everything is fine. The problem was with the browser
(Chrome - keep in mind!) - I opened a different browser and everything
downloaded like a charm!

4. What is on the CD-ROM?
(Q) Your AutoScreenRecorder software is much much more that I needed to show
a friend how to get out of a fix so thanks from both of us - it is the
recording of the mouse and drop-down menus that sells it for me.
Could you please spare me a moment or two and
let me know what is on the CD-ROM?

(A) The CD-ROM will have all our products and supporting documents. That is,
all setup packages, PDF manuals and step-by-step guide videos. However, you
can download all these files from our website on the download page.
Basically, the CD-ROM is optional. It is common that
many users just need to order the license key which we will email to you after
your order is processed.

5. How to install AutoScreenRecorder
onto a USB Pen Drive?
(Q) Is it possible to install AutoScreenRecorder onto a USB Pen Drive?
The reason I need this is that I work in a college, which has a restrict
network (for obvious reasons) and I usually install my favorite apps on
a pen drive.

(A) Usually a windows app will be installed on the machine before you
can use
it. What kind of apps that you can install on your USB Pen Drive?
What you can do to run AutoScreenRecorder
without installing it is,
(1) Run the install pack on your normal PC.
(2) Go to the installed folder, say C:\Program
Files\Wisdom-soft\AutoScreenRecorder 3 Pro
(3) Copy all the files in that folder to your USB drive.
(4) When you insert the USB drive to another PC, run "AutoScreenRecorder.exe"
from the USB drive folder.

6. Install dialog shows when I run
the program
((Q) Every time I run the icon installed in my menu for SH Pro I get the

(A) This may be because it's installed by .MSI install pack. You may
want to uninstall it and reinstall using the .EXE setup pack.

7. Group install packs
(Q) Do you have a copy of screenhunter v5.msi available for download. I
work in a school and we would like to use the free version in a number
of different ICT classrooms which means installing it on 200 machines
manually. I would prefer releasing a .msi via Group policy.
Could you send me the link or explain how I can obtain the .msi

8. Do I have to have the Wisdom
toolbar to keep the program?
(Q) I just recently installed your free screen capture program and I’m
very happy with it. It truly is an awesome little, simple to use program
that does a whole lot. However I do not want or have the need for the
toolbar. Do I have to have the Wisdom toolbar to keep the program? I
didn’t see this issue addressed in the FAQ’s or elsewhere on your site.

9. Can't uninstall
(Q) I used the uninstall feature in Screenhunter 5.0 free version but
the program is still active on my computer. The program does not show up
in the add-remove section of windows xp control panel. How do I remove
this program?

(A) Before you run uninstall, please make sure to exit the program
first.

11. I see there is a newer release
available. How do I find what fixes/enhancements were made?
(Q) I'm a registered user of ScreenHunter 5 Pro (rel. 5.0.733). I see
there is a newer release available. How do I find what
fixes/enhancements were made to the newer release? And, are registered
users entitled
To these? If so what do I need to do to obtain the new release?

(A) All registered users are entitled to have free minor upgrades. E.g.
minor upgrade for ScreenHunter 5 Pro is 5.x.y Pro, in which x is the
minor version number and y is the build number. If you see a greater
version or build number, that means it has a newer version.
We don't have every fix published that some
are fixes due to Microsoft OS fixes. However, it is recommended to
upgrade. E.g. the main upgrade from ScreenHunter 5.0.733 Pro to 5.0.735
Pro is you now can use a network printer as default and the program will
remember next time.
The registration and license information is
preserved when you re-install, so you don't have to enter your license key
again.
To upgrade, you can uninstall the current version.
Then, download the latest version setup program, and run the setup program to
install the new version.
